Hey--I am sorry to use this comment space for something unrelated to the entry. Next time I will just e-mail you, but I am lazy (and busy).

Two quick questions: 1. What do linguists think of philosophers of language?
2. What do linguists think of Noam Chomsky? Was he a good linguist before he went off on a political tangent? Do you think he is hurting the field by politicizing it?
