Ok, first, I'm mad that I had to sign up for this thing to comment. But I won't hold it against you.

Second, what is wrong with: Adult female human being?
Its a strange question--I actually went to a philosophy conference once where one of the presentations was proposing abolishing gender terms. That all seems misguided--certainly gender terms are necessary for sexism and things like that, but they can also be convenient for non-discriminating demarcation. I don't really remember much about the presentation though, so I don't really know what he meant by 'abolishing' gender terms. How can you do that anyway?
On a related note, I once posted on eliminating race terms; since then I have decided that is misguided. I had a conversation with a professor with a lot more knowledge of biology, and he convinced me that race isn't a social construct, but its more of a fuzzy concept. Fuzzy concepts are really interesting...but thats another story.
